On May 8, 1972, while praying in the Chapel of the Apparitions at Fatima, Rev. Fr. Stefano Gobbi, an Italian priest from Milan, felt an interior call to start the Marian Movement of Priests. This movement was launched with other priests on October 13, 1972 and is now a universal ministry. The MMP is Mary's gift to the Church in our times, to comfort her in her great distress and help her children live, with trust and filial hope, the painful moments of the purification. The structure of the cenacle is to invoke the Holy Spirit, pray the Rosary, pray for our Pope and priests, read and meditate on a reading from To the Priests Our Lady's Beloved Sons, and make an act of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Prayer Cenacle meets on Mondays after the 5:30 PM Novena Mass in Our Lady’s Chapel. Please join us in praying the Rosary... Mary's prayer par excellance is the weapon she gives us to fight today's spiritual battles! For more information, please contact Cathy Garwood (596-5955) or Colette Vogel (596-9935).
